8 Business Travel Executive askBTE com March 2020 PEOPLE HRS Dots Lines Inc is part of The Nina Pinta Group consultants to managed travel companies CWT has appointed Nick Vournakis as managing director of the CWT Global Customer Group beginning July 1 This newly expanded position will encompass his existing responsibilities at CWT Sato Travel as well as responsibility for all CWTs global customer accounts Vournakis has been with CWT for 20 years in a variety of senior roles The company has also named Laura Watterson to the newly created role of senior vice president global talent and rewards She had been at Johnson Brothers Liquor Company where she was chief human resources officer Uber for Business has promoted Mads Johnsen to be director of product leading efforts in building tools for Ubers business customers Johnsen had been Ubers head of product and tech strategy and prior to joining Uber led product business operations teams at LinkedIn Marriott International has named Neal Jones chief sales and marketing officer for Europe Middle East and Africa He has been with the company for over 20 years most recently serving as chief sales and marketing officer for Middle East and Africa In addition Marriott has welcomed Jim Scholefield as chief information and digital officer He was most recently chief information and digital officer at Merck Co and prior to that was CIO for Nike Park Hotels Resorts has appointed Thomas Morey as executive vice president and chief investment officer He most recently served as the companys executive vice president and general counsel Morey joined the company in 2016 after having worked at Washington REIT a real estate investment trust Hahn Air Introduces Corporate Shuttle Solution LATAM Airlines Group will introduce its Premium Economy class to all national and international flights within Latin America operated by Airbus A320 family of short and medium haul aircraft starting March 16 LATAM will offer two cabin classes Premium Economy and Economy Among the perks of Premium Economy will be priority check in and boarding VIP lounge access where available exclusive overhead bins and free snacks and drinks Passengers in Economy will also continue to have the option to select LATAM Seats offering increased space and reserved overhead bins on most flights In other news LATAM has announced it will leave the oneworld alliance on May 1 five months earlier than previously expected However the carrier says it will retain relationships with many of its former oneworld partners after leaving the alliance n IN INDUSTRY NEWS Hahn Air the German airline distribution and ticketing company has launched HRCorporate a corporate shuttle solution that provides a complete package including the management handling and distribution of company flights Using the inventory system of its sister company Hahn Air Systems HRCorporate makes the shuttle flights available in the GDS The companys dedicated Business Travel Company can then book the flights via the standard reservation and ticketing processes and issue them on a Hahn Air HR 169 ticket This makes all booking related data available Hahn Air also promises reliable technical support and a convenient online check in for corporate travelers LATAM LAUNCHES PREMIUM ECONOMY CABIN
